Amazing Tips to Glowing Skin:

I am not a professionalist, these are my personal experience, if you have any deep skin care issues then do consult a professionalist

1. Fats: Here I am talking about some healthy Fats that will radiant your skin naturally. Fats contain omega 6 fatty acids which are the building blocks for your cell membrane. When you eat fats, it not only does it hydrate your skin but it also radiates your skin. Some healthy fats include; coconut oil. avocado, olives, fish, nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews, peanuts). Your diet is a big part of your skin, what you eat can glow or can dull your skin.

2. Use less chemicals: The fewer products that you put on your skin is better. Stick to the products what works for you. quality over quantity is important

3. Do not irritate your skin: Specially when you have small breakouts, a pimple or two is normal, do not pop that thing or do not hide it with  makeup, let it breath & go on its own, the more you tease your pimple the more bacteria will spread into that area & it will generate more pimples on you skin. Isn’t one or two  pimples look cute than ugly 😉 (lol)

4. Wash your sheets: Wash your bed sheets & pillow sheets once every week or two weeks. because when you lay down our excess dirt, oil & bacteria accumulates on bed sheets & pillows especially when you din’t clean off your makeup before sleep and are going to rub it into your face every single night & all that bacteria will attack on your skin, making it dull & acne-prone

5. Look out for the missing nutrient: Notice the behavior & changes in your skin & try to figure out the vitamins & minerals you are lacking. (Do not follow this tip if your skin condition is severe). Do a vitamin deficiency test for you skin.
Vitamin A deficiency means you have dry & scaly skin
Vitamin D lacking means you have flaky, irritating skin
Vitamin E lacking means you have sun damaged
Vitamin C deficiency means you probably have rough dry skin & so on
Just consult a good professionalist to advice you some vitamins & minerals supplements & diet.

6. Love your skin: Do not focus on the bad sides of your skin instead focus the healthy & beautiful parts of your face, admire what you like in you & that will not only increase your confidence but also generate good vibes & will reduce your stress. This will radiate your skin from within. Sounds little cheesy but is true.

7. Let your skin breath: Do not mask your face with makeup on daily basis. Let your skin pores breath without any product put on. Hiding acne & blemishes with makeup can worse your skin condition. Try to walk out without makeup unless it is necessary. If you take off your makeup for couple of days then you will be noticing that you getting pimples but that’s okay, your body will be detoxing & getting rid of all the unhealthy stuff of your skin. Let your pimples go, on its own.

5 Amazing & Simple Homemade Face Mask for Glowing Skin:

Home remedies works slow but great, all you need to do is – be consistent & keep patience. The results would simply blow your mind up. All the ingredients shown below helps to nourish, moisturize & brighten your skin and will help to reduce skin problems like uneven tone, acne, roughness, dullness & aging.
Apply these masks after cleansing your face with a nice cleanser or you can also use pure rose water or raw milk to cleanse your face.
(note: avoid using all the methods with allergic & severe skin conditions)

  1. I am sharing this method that works for me. I usually apply curd/yogurt on my face to get even tone. Try to apply curd if you have combination or dry skin type, leave it for good 20 minutes & wash or cleanse. Try this on daily basis for few days & then reduce the application to thrice a week, I hope you will notice the difference.

As curd is rich in lactic acid & help to bleach your skin naturally making it softer & radiant. You can add besan/wheat flour to curd if you have oily skin type because Besan takes out the extra greasiness of the oily skin while making your skin supple & glowy.

2. I have my all time favorite face mask recipe that I have been using since teenage. My skin type is dry and combination skin but can be used on oily skin too, this pack works wonders if used consistently.

For Dry & Combination Skin Type:

Ingredients: Gram Flour, Milk, Turmeric (kasturi turmeric)

Method: Take 1 tbsp Gram flour and add milk to make paste like consistency, add couple pinch of turmeric powder (avoid cooking turmeric). Cleanse your face with rose water or any cleanser u like then apply the pack on face and neck, leave it for 10–15 minutes then wash by massaging it in a circular motion, use mild face wash to clean your face.

For Oily Skin Type:

Cleanse your face with cleanser and apply the same pack replacing milk with rose water, leave it for 15 mins and wash.

Apply twice a week for effective results, this will tighten and brighten your skin in few weeks of usage. I sometimes like to play with ingredients by adding few drops of lemon and 1 tea spn honey but personally I do not like to apply anything sticky on my face, don’t know why but that feels irritating to me so I keep it simple and non sticky, anyways u can try adding honey(for dry skin) and lemon( for oily skin) to it. As honey is full of antioxidants & antibacterial, works great for acne prone skin & has anti aging properties. While lemon has natural bleaching agents that lightens your skin fast.

3. This face mask can be applied on all types of skin

Ingredients: Rice Flour, Curd, Tomato

Method: Mix 1 tea spoon rice flour, 2 tsp yogurt/curd & 1 tsp tomato juice. Apply on all over your face & massage as a scrub gently for 2-3 minutes & leave it for 20-30 minutes & wash with plain water. All I can say is that this works great & gives an instant glow. try to use it thrice a week for nice & permanent results.

4. Take a banana, mash it smoothly & apply on your face as a face mask & let is rest for 20 minutes then wash with cold water & you are done. Or you can also add 1/4 cup yogurt/curd & 2 tablespoon honey & half banana, mix & apply as a mask for 20 minutes & wash with plain/cold water. As we know banana moisturizes your skin, curd which is rich in lactic acid & help to bleach your skin naturally making it softer & radiant, while honey is proven to treat acne & has anti aging properties. This works for all types of skin. Give it a try 🙂

5. Take a piece of tomato & pour alovera gel on top of it. Rub the slice on your face for 4-5 minutes & let it sit for another 5 minutes & wash with plain water. This would add an instant radiant to your skin. Use this only daily basis at the beginning then reduce the application to thrice or twice a week.

Tomato cure large pores, treat acne, soothe sunburn, and revive dull skin. It works well as an astringent & improves skin texture. Whereas alovera soothes dry & angry skin, providing a cool & moist layer to the skin, alovera helps to reduce redness & acne inflammation while assist in healing.
